The Altra Timp 4 is built to handle almost any distance on the trails. With a new EgoMax midsole, the Timp now has a premium foam compound underfoot that not only protects the legs but also helps to efficiently bounce runners through any trail. The MaxTrac outsole offers claw-like grip on a variety of surfaces, and the flex grooves carved into the rubber give this shoe an adaptable ride on everything from rocky trails to smooth fire roads. Finished off with a breathable knit upper, the Timp 4 features a “Standard” foot shape which is right in the middle of the “Original” and “Slim” options for a secure midfoot fit with a slightly roomier toe box.
