1985 People Weekly – Breakdancers Hooked on the HIND Sport Tight Look
It’s a tights fit for runners, dancers, bicyclists and street-savvy strutters.
In its May 27, 1985 publication, People’s STYLE section showed a popular group of breakdancers on a full page photo wearing the new HIND Sport Tights with this explanation: “The New York City Breakers found running tights ‘weird and too feminine’ at first but are now hooked on the look.”
Part of that look was the HIND three line trademark, which you can see on the left shin of the breakdancer in the front of the photo.
