Arroyo Grande High School pulled off yet another successful swim season earning the 2017 PAC 8 League Co-Champion title alongside the San Luis Obispo High School Swim Team.
A talented number of elite swimmers make up the Eagles squad this year, proving their skills in the water. Hannah Parsons earned 2 meet records (50 free and 100 free) and 2017 Event Champions from the Arroyo Grande Swim Team include:
- Shelbee Avalino – diving
- Sam Hazel – 200 free
- Hannah Parson – 50 free
- Hannah Parson – 100 free
- 400 Free Relay – Sam Hazel, Sara Stipanov, Paige Leonard, Hannah Parson
Earlier this season, GH Sports interviewed Head Coach Claudia Souder to learn more about the successful swimming program she has helped build at Arroyo Grande High School. We enjoyed what we learned and our GH Staff is super proud to see these successful young athletes push themselves year after year (and have fun in the process) while wearing GH Team Swim Suits!
