The original HIND Sport Tight was first developed in 1980. Now in its 35th year, we remember the traditions it has created and its legacy that lives on. Since the first was cut and sewn at HIND, it:
- Transformed the fitness industry as the first fitness tight for men. Yes, the first…EVER.
- Was worn by Willie Gault on the cover of Sports Illustrated.
- Allowed professional athletes, like Colleen Cannon and Scott Tinley, to cross train on the dance floor of The Limelight in Atlanta (because they would not allow in blue jeans)!
- Has continued to be one of GH Sports’ most iconic, traditional, and popular pieces, and is still made in San Luis Obispo, California.
Today, we launch the 3rd generation for women: The G3 Sport Tight that features a slightly lower waist rise and a gusset, maximizing comfort. The Men’s G2 Sport Tight is still going strong.
